Disney and Black Rock have released a brand new trailer for Split/Second.

The video shows the action-heavy racer in motion,  focusing on the Powerplay system. In Split/Second you can gain an advantage by triggering Powerplay events, which utilise the race environments to take out your opponents.

Split/Second sees developer Black Rock Studio teaming up with Disney once again, following the success of its ATV-meets-SSX title, Pure.

It’s due for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 21 May.
