Official review – Necromunda: Underhive Wars presents a 15-mission campaign that follows the journey of three rival gangs that are seeking an Archeotech. It also has its own separate mode for gang customization and operations. However, the question still remains: is this game worth your while? Let’s find out in our official review.
Gang creation and houses – When you create your custom gang, you’re given the choice among three houses: House Escher, House Goliath, and House Orlock. Each has its own specializations and perks that can help your squad. There are also a few customization options to make your characters look more unique.
Character creation, classes, and skills – No matter your chosen house, you’ll need to create custom characters. There are five pre-defined classes in the game with their skills, capabilities, and battle mechanics that can be used.
Operations and missions guide – Whether you’re playing the campaign or its sandbox mode, there will be several mission types that you can tackle. There’s your usual deathmatch-type objective where you simply need to eliminate all your opponents. Another would be a gladiatorial pit fight where only melee weapons are allowed. There’s even a mission objective where you need to “power on the lights” — sort of like a “control point” game — where your enemies tend to do the same.
Necromunda: Underhive Wars is available via Steam. You can purchase the game for $39.99.
