Bandai Namco have announced a 25 August release date for a pair of Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm (SUNS) bundles. Trilogy and Legacy will combine the first three games and the entire series of four games, respectively.
That seems to be approaching bundle overkill, but perhaps there’s a good reason for releasing two very similar compilation packs on the same day that I’m not seeing. Both editions will be available on PC through Steam, and each of the games will be available for individual purchase as well. Doesn’t seem like we’re getting any physical editions though.
As far as I can tell, this will be the first time Naruto SUNS 1 and Naruto SUNS 2 have been available on PC in the west (they’re not on Steam right now). The release date announcement post also notes that the games will be “remastered” in some way. There aren’t many specifics about what that might mean, but the trailer (below) does say the titles will have “improved beautiful graphics”.
