If you want to try Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution before it comes out, it looks like you’ll have the opportunity.
Bandai Namco have announced that the ridiculously-named game will be getting a demo on 2 July, complete with an online mode running from 2 July to 23 July. In short, if you fancy seeing how the PC port holds up, you can do so! If you fancy seeing how the online play holds up, you can do so! Which I suppose implies a pretty hefty degree of confidence.
At least, I think you can do so. I’ve asked Bandai Namco to clarify that this demo will indeed be coming to PC – and I’ll update you when and if they respond – but right now, all indications are “yes.” As Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is almost certainly being aimed primarily at consoles, though, it’s a little hard to be absolutely certain.
Either way, that’s not all. There’s also confirmation that Kakashi’s old buddy Obito will be playable in the game, both in human form and in a “True Awakening” Ten-Tails mode. You can see some screens and artwork of this grumpy chap below.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is due out in September, via digital distribution services.
