Have fun with it
These mods are for those of you who want to have fun with the game, or just play it in a way that the rules don’t allow. They’re not really lore friendly, but they’re guaranteed to give you an experience like no other.
Screamerlord
This is a great mod for having fun with Bannerlord. It changes the control scheme so that you can command troops with your voice instead of the HUD, as long as you have a working microphone. As someone who played through a good chunk of Tom Clancy’s Endwar using only microphone controls, I can tell you that this is a fantastic way to play any game. As awkward as staring at someone dead in the eyes as you eat an entire Mars bar in one bite, but so much fun all the same.
Gay Marriage
This mod is just a script fix that removes the gender check when it comes to marriage. Live your life how you want to, and destroy all those who oppose you.
Female Soldiers for all Factions
This mod doesn’t make all soldiers female, but it does sprinkle women in among the men in each army. It’s great for a more even experience that may actually be more realistic in a lot of ways.
Fast Dialogue
There are quite a few mods for skipping dialogue with certain people or factions, such as bandits. This mod supersedes them all by simply speeding up the dialogue process completely. It removes any loading screens from almost every interaction on the map, and helps you save time with everyone, from villagers, bandits, and lords to small faction meetings and caravans.
Cheer mod
This mod isn’t just great fun to play with; it has a practical side, too. With it installed, you can choose when to cheer with your army, whether it’s at the end of a victorious battle, or in the middle of it. Cheering grants a morale boost, so it’s worth using it in that final charge when all might be lost to give you a true Lord of the Rings: Return of the King ending battle moment.
Just for fun
We thought you’d enjoy this last mod if you’re a fan of the Mount & Blade franchise.
Warband Quotes
This final mod is a little something for those of you who have been playing the Mount & Blade games for a long time now. It brings back a few nostalgic sounds and quotes from Mount & Blade: Warband. The quotes are mainly from farmers, looters, peasants, and other random NPCs. Similar NPCs in Bannerlord will have a chance of repeating those old lines when you stumble across them.
We hope you enjoy your time with these Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord mods. they’ll help you make the most of your time with the game, and maybe even revitalize your next playthrough if you’ve been putting the hours in for a while.
