Play better
If you’ve been having fun with Bannerlord, then you’ve probably been playing for a few dozen hours by now. These mods mix up the gameplay to make it more fun and engaging for players who may be tiring of the core loop.
Banner Editor Enhancer
This is just a tiny mod, but the impact is massive. It lets you edit your banner even more than the base game does, which is great because you’ll be using it for the entire game.
Character Trainer
Trainer is a strong word for what this mod does, which you may have already guessed. What it gives you is a text file in which you can set the attributes, skills, and perks for your character. Great for a quick start, though we wouldn’t suggest anyone using it for their first playthrough.
Lame Horses are not Lame
This is another mod that’s easy to understand. It’s incredibly annoying when your horse becomes lame, so what this does is remove the riding speed and price penalties. While the horse will still be listed as lame, there will be no impact on its performance.
Intro Disabler
As we mentioned at the start of this article, you’ve probably been playing this game for a while now. If you’re starting new playthroughs every week, you don’t need to watch the intro video again do you? This mod removes it, that’s it.
On the next page we’ve gathered together a few of the mods that veer away from visuals and gameplay changes. These open up new avenues for enjoyment in Bannerlord, though some of them might be too funny to cope with.
