Just as with the evolution of Guybrush, LucasArts has posted concept art pieces showing the design process for the special edition version of Governor Elaine Marley.

Guybrush Threepwood’s on-off lady partner looks a little miffed in the final concept piece, but if you’ve played through the game before you’ll know that’s rather appropriate for this entry in the series.
All this artistic endeavour is for the forthcoming special edition of Monkey Island 2, which will feature updated visuals (obviously), full voice acting, remastered music and even some developer commentary. It’ll also feature a switcho-changeo button to take you back to the classic version if all this new stuff is not to your liking.
