Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) Bring ‘Em On guide: How to eliminate a Special or Elite enemy

It's time to master the Frenzied Guard Upgrade

Things really start to get tough in MWZ when you reach Tier 5. Every mission has multiple steps with plenty to trip you up if you don’t know what to do. If you’re struggling, here’s our Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) Bring ‘Em On guide: How to eliminate a Special or Elite enemy.

Bring ‘Em On has several objectives and offers a crash course in the Frenzied Guard Field Upgrade. For this mission, you must kill 50 Zombies and a Special/Elite Enemy with Frenzied Guard

Ensure you have the Frenzied Guard Field Upgrade equipped before you begin and start racking up kills when you land. Frenzied Guard has a slow recharge and costs roughly 50 kills before it can be used. Once active, Zombies are attracted to you, and you regain armor while scoring kills.

Once Frenzied Guard is recharged, it’s time to hunt for a special enemy. A surefire way to find one is by doing an Escort Contract. A Mangler will usually spawn during these contracts, and they count for the mission.

Although less reliable, I often find Special Enemies around Aether Nests. They aren’t guaranteed spawns, but they are a decent option if you can’t find anyone to do an Escort Contract.

How to kill 50 enemies with Frenzied Guard in MWZ

If anything in MWZ attracts Zombies en-masse, it’s the exfil chopper. When your Frenzied Guard is live, call an exfil and watch the Zombies appear. Once a decent-sized group is chasing you, pop Frenzied Guard and open fire.

Remember, you don’t have to leave when you call for exfil, so feel free to repeat this a few times. Just be mindful of your teammates if you’re playing with randoms, as they likely won’t know what you’re trying to do.

Why aren’t my Frenzied Guard kills counting?

During my playtime with MWZ, I’ve noticed several instances of kills not counting. It happened a lot when I went for Cryo kills in an earlier mission and during Bring ‘Em On. The kill counter sometimes corrects itself once you’ve exfilled, but you may need to earn a few extra kills to complete the mission.
