Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s February 4 update adds a number of playlists, with some being new and others making a return. It adds Face Off Grind, Shipment 24/7, Shoot House 24/7, Shoot the Ship Hardcore, Hardcore 10v10 Mosh Pit, and 10v10 Mosh Pit.
24/7/365
Modern Warfare‘s weekly updates are notorious for adding and removing different 24/7 playlists to the game. This one, however, has added multiple 24/7 playlists at one time: Shipment 24/7, Shoot House 24/7, and Shoot the Ship Hardcore.
Shipment 24/7 and Shoot House 24/7 appear to be the most popular 24/7 playlists due to their frequent return. Shoot the Ship Hardcore is finally out after fans of the Hardcore playlist have begged for it since going live in Core playlists.
Face Off Grind
Face Off Grind probably should have been called Gunfight Grind to lessen confusion as to what the mode is. Nonetheless, it is a fun addition to the popular Gunfight mode in Modern Warfare. In Face Off Grind, you jump into a 2v2 Gunfight match, but instead of it being a one-life-per-round affair, it mimics the Grind playlist. This mode is a different take on Kill Confirmed. When you kill an enemy, they drop a dog tag just like in Kill Confirmed. But the twist is that you have to take those dog tags to banks on the map to get points. If you die with multiple tags on your body, the enemy team can retrieve them and turn them in.
Mosh Pit
Two versions of Mosh Pit have been added to Modern Warfare in the February 4 update, Hardcore 10v10 Mosh Pit and 10v10 Mosh Pit. Hardcore 10v10 Mosh Pit will consist of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters. 10v10 Mosh Pit will consist of Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters.
This is a pretty big playlist update in comparison to previous ones. Along with weekly updates, Modern Warfare introduced content seasons for the first time in Call of Duty. Season One is set to end on February 11, meaning we should be hearing about Season Two in the near future.
