Modern Warfare 3 breaking pre-order records

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

According to UK retailer GAME, Modern Warfare 3 is breaking their pre-order records.
The battle between Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 is truly underway and according to GAME pre-orders on Modern Warfare 3 are breaking their previous pre-order records.
Last year Black Ops broke GAMES previous records which made it the largest pre-order title in the company’s history. The next game looks like it will surpass even those records according to the latest reports from the retailer.
Tom Devine, managing director of GAME Group UK said: “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3pre-orders are already tracking significantly ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops at the same time last year. We know that the Call of Duty brand and franchise has the most amazing fan-base and we’ve got some great surprises lined up for those who pre-order with us. We’re looking forward to an incredible launch on 8th November.”
The news is not surprising, CoD now has a massive following, even if we think Battlefield 3 is going to be the better game based on what we have seen of both titles so far.
