Modern Warfare 3 airdrops a multiplayer trailer

In a surprisingly move, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 appears to have switched to a third-person perspective. Oh, wait, that’s just a baffling decision for this multiplayer trailer.
Let’s be blunt here, Modern Warfare 3 has reached ‘event’ status. Like the terrible Michael Bay film that everybody sees even though they have zero expectations, this game is guarenteed a massive audience no matter what is written about it.
So it doesn’t matter that this trailer looks eerily similar to previous Call of Duty titles. It doesn’t matter that it barely shows any actual first-person shooting. It doesn’t matter that the series is now so pompous that it calls its trailers ‘World Premieres’.
People are going to buy it in droves anyway. It’s released in November.
