Activision has today announced a launch event for Modern Warfare 2 at London’s Leicester Square.Activision wants to make a huge splash with its biggest title of this year, Modern Warfare 2, and it is bringing the launch of the game to the ‘home of the ‘Hollywood Premiere’ for a huge big screen event on 9 November. The game’s screening will also be compered by a ‘celeb fan of the game’ .Joe public can also get involved by heading to the midnight launch at HMV’s flagship Trocadero Store and a VIP launch party has also been planned at a secret underground bunker location which will be headlined by what Activision is calling ‘one of the UK’s biggest male artists of 2009.’ It’s Cliff Richard, isn’t it?Now let’s hope the server petition boycott group don’t show up and cause a riot.
