Rumours have hit the internet that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been delayed on PC.The news comes from Electronic Theatre, which claims to have seen an Activision-Blizzard release schedule stating that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 will hit a full two weeks later than the other versions (scheduled for 10 November) on 24 November. It’s unconfirmed at this stage, but Electronic Theatre reckons that manufacturing issues are to blame rather than piracy, pointing out that the game will need plenty of physical copies in order to sell to its potential, and that the PC is likely the least important of the versions.Which is possible, and has evidence to support it, should this all be true. We note that two weeks is a long, long time in piracy, however, particularly with a game like Modern Warfare 2. Being able to beat zero-day releases tends to guarantee a larger number of sales for something hugely anticipated. We’ll let you know when we hear confirmation.
