Mod SDK released for Red Orchestra 2

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Tripwire Interactive has delighted modders everywhere by releasing a mod SDK (that’s Software Development Kit, acronym fans) for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. In effect, this means modders can twiddle around with all manner of settings in the game and release their work to the rest of the playerbase.
“Users can now make and publish everything from simple mods and mutators, through custom maps and on to full total conversion mods,” says a helpful, nearby person from Tripwire.
You can find the SDK in the “tools” tab on Steam and begin downloading it now (assuming you own Red Orchestra 2, that is). After that, it might be an idea to keep an eye on the Tripwire mods forum for advice and new projects.
Maybe you’ll be able to mod out some of the problems Tim found with the game when he reviewed it last September.
