Minecraft was released on the Xbox 360 today through the Xbox Live Arcade. There are a few improvements between the PC version and the Xbox 360 version including:
- Online multiplayer made easier
- Local co-op allows 4 players to play on split screen
- Crafting made easier
- Tips and tutorials available
For beginners to the game, these improvements certainly make initial immersion easier. It should be noted however, that the Xbox 360 version does not have aspects of the PC version, including:
- No support mods
- No sprint
- No creative mode
You can buy Minecraft on the Xbox for 1600 Microsoft Points ($20) through the Xbox Live Arcade.
