Mighty No. 9 Demo Delayed; Free Codes for Mighty Gunvolt Offered to Backers

Mighty No. 9 was one of the first great Kickstarter success stories for gaming. The spiritual successor to Mega Man, Mighty No. 9, led by Keiji Inafune, looked to win back gamers who enjoyed the classic Mega Man games a lot of us grew up on.

There has been many snags, including many release date delays, for Mighty No. 9, which is now scheduled to launch in 2016. Adding to the list of problems it a Kickstarter Backer Demo that was supposed to launch on September 15th, but alas, never did.

On the games website, the team apologized for the delay of the demo, and is offering free Steam codes to backers of Mighty No. 9 of Mighty Gunvolt, which was originally a 3DS release set in the Mighty No. 9 universe. The game will launch of Steam on September 29th.
