The latest trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor focuses on the wraith aiding Talion and the ways you can use it to create havoc.

In case you missed it, the wraith was recently revealed to be Celebrimbor, a name probably familiar to fans of Middle-earth lore. With the aid of Celebrimbor, protagonist Talion can dominate his enemies and see their unique strengths, fears, and weaknesses; someone might be immune to stealth attacks but takes extra damage from range, for instance. Another foe might be terrified by certain creatures, so you can stack the odds in your advantage if you make sure a few of them are around when you take him on. Etc.

Again, this will hopefully provide a bit of replayability and offer different experiences to different players, particularly when combined with the Nemesis system which shapes the foes you fight.

Shadow of Mordor is due out on 3 October, and it’s looking rather tasty. Trailer below!
