For some time there have been rumours and rumblings surrounding Microsoft’s Halo TV show. The latest news is that Microsoft are in “deep” to bring the show to the premium cable channel Showtime.
Last year it was announced that the legendary movie director Steven Spielberg would be involved in the project and that he would act as the executive producer whilst working with 343 Industries and Amblin Television.
As far as we know right now, the plan is for the show to air first on TV then on the Xbox. There have also been rumours that the Xbox version of the show will be interactive. Due to this and Microsoft’s understandable caution with such a huge franchise, the show has taken time to make any great progress though it seems we may be getting closer.
Showtime is known for hit shows like Homeland, Dexter, Californication, Dexter and Weeds. This is certainly a network Halo fans can feel confident in.
