Michael Bay Currently in Negotiation to Produce Lumines Movie

Recently it has been reported that the lackluster quality of the Transformers movies can be attributed to Michael Bay’s new found addiction to video games. (Also run-on sentences are A-OK!) One particular culprit has been the Lumines franchise, which Bay has spent countless hours at the expense of moviegoers everywhere.

Bay took his fondness for the block dropping, music pumping, thumb-twisting frenzy that is Lumines one step further when he recently contacted Q Entertainment. After hours of laughter and then assuring them that it was not a joke, he shared with them his intentions to develop a Lumines movie. Details are scarce at this time but what we have been able to learn is that aliens will play a significant role.

Though he is the frontrunner, Bay may receive stiff completion from one M. Night Shyamalan. (The one that makes it a habit to point out he wrote, produced and directed his films. It shows!) Apparently the word spreads fast within Hollywood circles and this is just the type of project Shyamalan would like his name on.

While the names are in the air, one thing for certain is that this film WILL be made. Fans of Lumines can currently find their fix on PSP, PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita. It’s advised that you enjoy these games now before they’re ruined forever.
