Time to feel justifiably smug about owning a decent gaming PC again, as Konami put up a few graphics comparison shots from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Big surprise – the PC version looks best. Scroll down a little in the link above to see some PC-vs-PS4 images, where (at night, particularly) the PC exhibits superior Level of Detail and additional light sources.
Here’s the most striking comparison. The PC shot is at 4K too, which obviously helps. Click for larger versions.
Some feature comparisons at the foot of Konami’s page state that the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will max out at a resolution of 3840×2160 and 60fps.
