The first details of the co-operative gameplay in EA’s Mercenaries 2: World in Flames have emerged today. IGN’s hands-on preview of the open-world action title has confirmed there will be no menus or lobbies once the game has begun, meaning it will feature true drop-in, drop-out co-op gameplay. The host will be the only one to make progress in the game however, although the guest will get to keep any cash and weapons they acquire. The preview also confirms the game will not adjust increase the amount of enemies during co-op play, meaning players who get stuck on a particular section can call in a friend to help them get past it.Thanks, Kotaku.
