I hope one of the new perks is moustache-based.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified turned out better than I’d expected. That doesn’t make it great or essential or anything, but the prospect of a DLC mini-campaign for $5.00 USD doesn’t sound too bad. It’ll be called Hangar 6, and should be available from 8 October.

You’ll play as Nico DeSilva in a period before the events of the game itself. DeSilva is involved in a series of psychic experiments, during the course of which he and his squad will be “treated with an elerium-based compound gas in order to visualize and combat the mental defenses of another agent infected with the “Sleepwalker” pathogen.” If you think that sounds a bit weird, it’s no less strange than what the 1960s US military was up to in real life.

So, as DeSilva (and squadmate Ennis Cole,) you’ll be taking part in some weird, hallucinogenic combat experiments. DeSilva has some extra powers and perks based on his “plant and trigger” skill from the main game, as well as some more familiar talents. There will also be AK-47 and prototype Microwave Gun weapons to use and abuse.
