EA’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter has entered the UK chart at number one, taking over from the ever-popular behemoth that is Fifa 13. Far be it from me to point the accusation finger, but EA’s tactic of withholding review code from the press until the day of launch seems to have worked – consumers haven’t had a chance to read the negative reviews being buying the game.

Other new entries include Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (eighth) and Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park (ninth).
