EA has announced a little Medal of Honor bonus for owners of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Provided you bought Bad Company 2 as new and redeemed the VIP code (for 360 and PS3) or have played it online at least once (PC), Medal of Honor’s M24 sniper rifle will be unlocked from the moment you buy the forthcoming game.

You may recall that this installment will be taking the Medal of Honor series to Afghanistan. Back in February, EA’s Los Angeles studio assured us that this did not mean the game will just be some sort of “propaganda piece.”
