Should you tell Magik about the party in Marvel’s Midnight Suns

Magik is one of the most dependable team members in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. However, she also happens to have a distant and guarded attitude owing to what happened to her in the past. Still, you can learn more about her, especially once the group decides to throw a birthday bash. Talking to Magik

A bit early on in the campaign, Nico Minoru will inform you about a planned birthday party for Magik. You’ll then be prompted to talk to her about it while you’re not in a mission.

So, should you tell Magik about the party in Marvel’s Midnight Suns? The short answer is: yes, it’s totally fine. If you respond by saying that she needed to know about it, you can even earn some extra Friendship points. And, in the end, she’ll still act surprised anyway.

Party Time

As for when the birthday party for Magik occurs in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, I’m not sure if there’s a definite point in the campaign. What I do recall are the following instances:

• I already did the first Emo Kids Abbey Club meeting.
• I gave Magik the Oyster Mushrooms and Wolfsbane.
• It occurred after the first Crossbones boss fight.

Regardless of when it happens in your playthrough, Magik will leave in a huff. You can then talk to your other teammates, especially Nico, who’ll then open a portal to Limbo.

Getting Magik Back

You’ll find yourself in the Limbo dimension. Just follow the curving path, picking up some items along the way, including an Arcane Key. Eventually, you’ll see a log cabin in the distance. Check the back of the cabin to open a Legendary Arcane Chest.

Next, go inside and talk to Magik. Choose the positive/considerate responses here to convince her to return to the Abbey. When that’s done, speak with Nico to conclude this short sidequest.
