Man attacks teenager after losing a game of Black Ops

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

A dead-cert for the ‘WTF’ moment of the week…
I’m going to start this article with a disclaimer: I do not vouche for the accuracy of ‘wownews.co.uk‘.
We all know videogames can be frustrating. Call of Duty: Black Ops is particularly irritating, especially when you’re playing online and the little shit that has been killing you for the past hour starts taunting and goading you into a response.
We’ve all been there, we’ve all experienced it. Some of us have even responded to their taunts, calling them names we wouldn’t dare utter in front of our friends let alone our mothers.
And yet, we remain in control enough to stop ourselves from tracking down the bastards and choking them in their own homes. Not everyone, it seems, has our level of self-control.
Wownews.co.uk is reporting that 46 year-old Mark Bradford tracked down and choked a 13 year-old after the kid started taunting him following killing him in an online match. Apparently, Bradford tracked the address of his virtual nemesis and assualted him at his home in Plymouth, Devon (UK).
It was the kid’s mother that halted the attack by wrestling him off of her son.
Bradford described the attack as “a moment of madness” that was induced because the kid “would not shut up”. Bradford has admitted a single charge of assualt.
People, I think we’ve just entered the Twilight Zone.
The image above shows what Bradford should have done…
