EA Games has announced that Madden 20, the next entry in its extremely popular football series, will be making a touchdown on PC this year. Following from last year’s Madden 19 (the first PC release in over a decade), this new entry will launch simultaneously with its console brethren on August 2, 2019. If that isn’t enough to get you excited, this year’s cover athlete was shown to be QB Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.
As with any triple-A game release, there are a plethora of different editions available for pre-order. The standard, the superstar, and the “ultimate” superstar. While the latter two options will provide you with three-day early-access, the ultimate edition is actually included in EA’s “Origin Premier” subscription service. As for the other extra tidbits, it’s a bunch of things related to microtransactions, the “Gold Team” mode, and stat boosters.
You can pre-order all three versions from Origin right now. The standard will run you $59.99, the superstar $79.99, and the ultimate superstar $99.99. A breakdown of the various editions can be seen below.
