Order up!

Ichiban is always getting roped into sticky situations in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, so it only makes sense that a substory would involve him filling in as a waiter at a busy restaurant. In the Wait for Me substory, you’ll need to greet customers and remember their orders.

How to Greet Customers in the Wait for Me Substory

There are three customers that you’ll be serving as Infinite Wealth puts you to work in a restaurant during this substory. Each of them needs to be greeted differently if you want to get all of the bonus rewards. The first customer is cheerful, so fully raise the meter to offer a Friendly greeting to earn some Passion points. The second customer is elegant, so lower the meter and offer a Refined greeting to get some Style points. Finally, a family of four visits with an excited child, so raise the meter fully to offer a loud and Friendly greeting to please him and get some additional Passion Points.

There’s no penalty for greeting the customers inappropriately, but you will miss out on the bonus personality points if you don’t match their energy. Personality scores are important for unlocking new Jobs, so you should take every chance you get to increase them.

All Waiter Substory Orders

Once you’ve greeted everyone, you need to take orders at all three tables. It sounds simple enough, but of course, the customers are going to make it as difficult as possible. While they change their minds multiple times when ordering, these are the final orders for each customer:

  • Cheerful Customer: Ahi Poke and three Haupias
  • Customer in Black: Acai Bowl and Lau Lau
  • Elegant Customer: Mahi Mahi

Again, you won’t fail the substory or anything like that if you get the orders wrong, so don’t panic if you accidentally select the wrong option.

Which Food is Which?

After all the food has been delivered, the chef will ask you to take a few more orders to the family of four that you greeted earlier. The first thing that you need to take is the Lau Lau, which is the green dish on the left. The next dish on the menu is the Kalua Pig, which is the shredded pork dish in the middle.

What is the Chef’s Name?

Once the family has their food, they’ll ask to see the owner. He asks for his name and it’s up to you to answer. The chef’s name is Obispo. Again, don’t worry if you pick the wrong name. The chef approaches no matter what, but he’ll be a little hurt if you don’t remember his name.

After the family finishes their food, the substory is over. You’ll get some healing food as a reward plus $300 and an Epicurean’s Epithet which increases your level as a Chef by one. You can use this on any party member, not just Kasuga. The Chef Job is unlocked later in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, however, so you may not have it yet if you’re still early in the game.
