Playground Games continues to outfit Forza Horizon 4 with new vehicles every few weeks. At launch, some notable brands that appeared in past games were missing, such as Toyota and Lexus. Now, both brands have formally made a return. Toyota finally made its way back into the world of Horizon a few months back with the release of the Supra. Even more recently was the arrival of the AE86. Now, Toyota’s subsidiary, Lexus, is also back in the pack with the arrival of the 2010 LFA as part of this week’s game update.
The new Series 19 update drops today, Thursday, February 13, 2020.
With the LFA now in the car list, it’s yet another addition to Horizon 4’s already healthy collection of supercars. The 2010 LFA packs a 4.8L V10 engine and tops out at 202 MPH. So, you can definitely take this hurtling down the highway to wrack up some serious skill points. It’s not an automatic addition to the garage, however. You’ll need to complete 50% of the Summer Festival Playlist in order to access it.
In addition to the 2010 Lexus LFA, four more cars are also being added to the game. The 1984 Rover SD1 will also be unlockable as of today, followed by the 1994 Ford Supervan3 and 2019 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro both being unlockable as of 2/27.
Beyond Lexus, there’s LEGO
The final car being added to Forza Horizon 4 in this new update is one that will only be available to those that own the LEGO Valley DLC expansion: the 2017 LEGO Bugatti Chiron
. Unlocking it is relatively easy; all you have to do is complete a new event that is located in the northeast corner of the LEGO Valley map after you’ve unlocked the Master Builder’s House. Once completed, the Chiron will be added to your garage. The amount of in-game LEGO cars is surprisingly light, so the arrival of the Chiron is no doubt very much appreciated by fans of the expansion pack.
