TT Games has announced that the latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars series, based on Episode III: The Clone Wars (as well as the animated series of the same name,) will be coming in February 2011.
The game will be available in the US on 15 February 2011, with a European release following on 17 February for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP and DS. Originally, the title was scheduled to be out around about now, but TT Games has perhaps wisely decided to avoid getting lost in a snowstorm of Kinect coverage. In delaying, the company has also avoided going head to head with another potential family favourite – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Click below to watch a developer diary about the game, in which the team introduces ‘scene-swap,’ some light RTS elements and a whole new rendering engine. Hopefully they’ll finally fix the camera issues this time, too.
