LEGO Fortnite player makes a vehicle to scoop up farm animals

Why walk everywhere yourself?

The Farm Friends update for LEGO Fortnite has finally brought animal farms to the game. However, with that comes herding, which a player has found a wonderful way to circumvent.

Using vehicles to gather animals in LEGO Fortnite

The previous update to LEGO Fortnite allowed players to make their own vehicles, which was perfect for when the Farm Friends update rolled around. Typically, to get any animals to your farm, you’d have to lure them over with Animal Treats. This is quite a challenge, as they can get distracted easily and won’t follow you for long without another serving of treats.

However, you won’t have to worry about any of that when you rock up with your animal-catching vehicle.

Many players had the idea of using a moving platform to bump animals into a carriage. As displayed by Valuable_Royal1013, you can also use Fishing Rods to swing your target over onto the platform if they’re in an unobtainable position.

You can collect as many animals as you want in a fast fashion as you roll over the hills and pick up your unsuspecting new friends. All you must then do is deliver them to your base – just make sure you can accomodate for them!

The greatest thing about these vehicles is that the animals won’t just walk off them, especially when you’re moving. If an an animal finds its way off the vehicle, then you can always just quickly scoop them up again. Make sure not to overload your platform, though!

If you want to try this out for yourself, make sure that the platform is as close to the ground as it can get without actually really touching the floor. Otherwise, the animals may not be bumped into your vehicle correctly.

I wonder what other contraptions LEGO Fortnite players create to help their farming operations, or to deal with bears?
