Where are they?

Although many LEGO Fortnite players love the game, there are some fans online upset that a promotional image included items not at all in the game.

In Fortnite, one of the promotional images advertising LEGO Fortnite includes a ton of interesting items that aren’t in the game, so what gives?

A promotional image for LEGO Fortnite includes never-before seen items

In this Reddit post on the LEGO Fortnite subreddit, the user “JATennnnn” posted this image. Now a ton of other LEGO Fortnite fans are rightfully upset that this promotional image included items that are not in the game — at least not yet.

You can see plenty of items that aren’t available to build or find in LEGO Fortnite. There are paths, food stands, windmills, and probably more if your eyes are sharp enough. None of these items or builds are in this open-world survival Fortnite mode, so why is that?

One reason could be that these items displayed exist solely for the promotional image. But this could also mean that these items are in the works, just not available yet until a future update.

Many LEGO Fortnite players in the replies have been piling onto this post, wondering why these items aren’t in the game yet. It’s cool to see animal husbandry, but you currently can’t even keep animals on a farm.

Since this is a newly-released mode still lacking a huge content update, I wouldn’t be surprised to see most of these items arriving soon. We just have to be patient and hope that by the end of the year, we’ll get things like windmills and food stands.

Epic Games already had to create the models for the image, so it’s not far-fetched to think the team is working on putting them into the game. While waiting for that update, you should check out this incredible catapult in LEGO Fortnite built by a very creative player!
