Left 4 Dead Crash Course DLC Soon?

This article is over 15 years old and may contain outdated information

Left 4 Dead’s Crash Course DLC may be coming sooner than expected, at least for a few lucky Xbox LIVE users.Next Wednesday’s Game with Fame session, allowing superstars to publicly slum it and play games with regular joes like us, will have the band Paramore playing Left 4 Dead on Xbox LIVE.The interesting part, assuming you’re more into Left 4 Dead than you are Paramore, is that they’ll apparently be playing the Crash Course DLC.”If you’re an Xbox LIVE Gold Member […] and you want a chance to play the new Crash Course add-on for Left 4 Dead, send a friend request to the following Gamertag and be online half an hour before (5:30 P.M. Central Time) the Game with Fame session starts on Wednesday, September 23, at 6:00 PM CT,” reads the announcement. So what do you reckon? Will Crash Course be released next week? Will some sort of DLC demo come out? Or will a few lucky Xbox LIVE Gold members simply be able to get their hands on the DLC prior to release? We reckon the latter, but we hope it’s the former. The Crash Course DLC is specially designed to both provide a shorter Left 4 Dead experience with a Versus mode hopefully taking a mere 30 minutes, and to bridge the gap between the original No Mercy and Death Toll campaigns. Expect new locations, new dialogue, and an explosive finale – but it’s not going to be the last DLC we’ll see.
