We posted about Solarix a few weeks back and time is running out to raise their modest funding goal.
There are some Kickstarters that look terrible and make their funding goal and there are some that look promising but fall short. Solarix from UK developer Pulsetense falls into the latter category.
With 50 hours to go, the campaign has only managed to raise £2260 of their £10K goal which could be a missed opportunity for gamers who loved games like Thief, System Shock and Deus Ex. Living up to these three titans of gaming is not going to be easy but it may be worth a punt.
Pulsetense’s Mark Gregory fired over a quick email earlier to explain the current funding situation.
“Words cannot be described at how low we feel as a team at the moment with only 50 hours to go and only achieving less than 25% of our goal. The highs of this campaign have come from Harvey Smith and Ken Levine both publicly backing the project. Lessons have been learned and this is the last throw of the dice “
A passionate plea from a developer who has obviously sunk masses of time to create a game which does look promising. We’ll do our bit on IncGamers and give it another push.
