How to recruit the Bone Dragon in King’s Bounty II
Let’s discuss how to get the Bone Dragon unit in King’s Bounty II.
This is part of a sidequest called “Fatal Voyage.” You have to go to the town of Floster much later in the campaign to find the treasurers. Finishing this step removes the barricades and lets you explore the rest of the town.
There’s an NPC here named Philmore who’ll tell you to find Stone Tablets (he’ll give you the first one). The other Stone Tablets are actually all the way to the west. They’re marked on your map, so no worries there. However, be forewarned that the roads have several encounters with hostile armies.
Eventually, you’ll reach the southwestern coast where a man named Francos is waiting for you. He’ll open a portal that lets you battle two Bone Dragons backed by several Ancient Ghouls and Death Knights. Use your “Taunt” and powerful spells to keep the advantage. I also suggest casting “Magic Shackles” on the Death Knight to prevent it from taunting the rest of your army (you really need to burst the Bone Dragons down).
Victory here nets you the Talisman of Darkness and Death (+20% damage dealt and resistance to this element of spells). Likewise, Francos will let you recruit Bone Dragons for 30,000 per unit (he’s got two of them).
All right, let’s go to the next part of our King’s Bounty II guide to talk about the Chimera.
