In King of Seas, you’ll be able to obtain talent points once you hit level 10. From this point onwards, you’ll receive a point for each level up. To be clear, I’m not yet sure what the cap is (it seems to be level 60 based on the items I’ve acquired). Still, there might be moments when you feel like you’ve selected the wrong skills and perks. As such, here’s our guide to help you reset your talent points in King of Seas.

King of Seas guide: How to reset your talent points
Resetting your talent points in King of Sea is a lot more involved than what you’ve seen in typical RPGs (i.e., those that just require you to pay gold to an NPC). In this game, you’ll need to find the Shaman King who resides in the Star Temple. The Star Temple itself is part of an island chain that looks like a hand.
Due to procedural generation, the layout of the world map might be different. In my case, I found the location a couple of settlements directly south of Eagle’s Den (the Pirate HQ).
The Shaman King will then give you a quest called “Cursed Soul” which you can complete to reset your talent points. Find the ghost ship marked on your map (it might be several levels higher than you are), and take it out.
I tend to use some of the best skills in the game such as “Welcome to Hell” to make quick work of the target. Since it chases you around, you can just blast it with the homing fireball until it sinks.
When you’re done, return to the Star Temple. The Shaman King will tell you that your talent points have been fully reset. If you haven’t done it yet, I suggest picking up increased ship speed and increased experience point gains from the Navigation row. I also like the boosted ability damage and improved cannon range from the Voodoo row.
Anyway, don’t forget that you need to return to the Star Temple and redo the quest each time you want to reset your skills/perks/talents in King of Seas.
