Key staff leave Lionhead to form new studio

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Various high-profile staff have jumped ship from Fable-developer Lionhead to form their own studio.
Dubbed Another Place Productions, the new studio is being headed up by Fable creators Simon and Dene Carter. Also part of the new team are Fable technical director Guillaume Portes, Fable art director John McCormack and exec producter Jeremie Texier.
The team’s goal is to create “high-quality, meaningful experiences that will inspire audiences worldwide”, which hardly provides an insight into the type of projects we’re likely to see from them.
In recent Lionhead news, the studio has activated a countdown on their official website, which will hit zero at the end of GDC. Its meaning is unknown.
