Danish developers Full Control have spilled a couple more beans from the big pot of detail stew about their foray into the Jagged Alliance series. The team (who are also developing a version of Space Hulk) secured the license from publisher bitComposer and will now turn to Kickstarter to fund Jagged Alliance: Flashback.
The Kickstarter isn’t underway yet (that’ll be next week,) but thanks to an interview over at RPS it’s already known that the studio will be looking for $350,000 USD.
Flashback will be set “in the mid-1980’s on the Caribbean Island of San Cristobal,” during the Cold War era. So no doubt your mercenary squad will be performing some dodgy activities on behalf of the CIA/KGB.
You can learn not very much more by visiting the game’s official website. However, you can marvel at the Soviet hammer and sickle symbol replacing the letter ‘a’ in ‘Flashback’ and wonder to yourself how exactly that works.
