Is Peso Pluma in MW3? Answered

Call of Duty is no stranger to having cameos from celebrities to characters like Spawn in their games. I mean, I still can’t believe Kevin Durant is running around in Warzone. Having celebs makes Call of Duty even bigger than it already is. It can create new experiences which can blow up on social media. While the addition of celebrities and other high-profile individuals doesn’t change the game, it just makes things interesting. For example, we live in a world where famed rapper Niki Minaj is an operator in Warzone. So there’s that. For Modern Warfare 3, this is the same. It looks like Infinity Ward wants to hit the ground running with their own set of cameos. We haven’t seen much in terms of special characters, but fans of the game have been asking if the 24-year-old musician Peso Pluma is in MW3. We got the answer for you below.

MW3: Is Peso Pluma in the game? Answered

At the moment, it seems like there’s no confirmation if the musician is making his debut in the shooter. Apart from a Tweet from Call of Duty’s official Twitter page, we haven’t been told to what capacity he’ll be in the game. Meaning, that he could be a character to play, or there’s an event that’s surrounding the musician. So we are in the dark with the 24-year-old’s involvement in MW3. However, with the game’s recent history, I would bet that he might be an operator either at launch or down the line. But for now, we’ll have to wait for the developers to give us an update. I would assume, we could hear something closer to the game’s launch on November 10th.

Who is Peso Pluma?

For players such as myself who don’t know him will probably have heard him before. He’s quickly gaining recognition in the mainstream by being featured in a song with Lady Gaga called “Ella Baila Sola”. He’s been active since 2020 but is now gaining more traction by being featured in MW3 and working with other artists such as ASAP Rocky.
