Anyone interested in purchasing Persona 3 Reload on Steam who owns a Steam Deck is probably wondering how compatible the game is with Valve’s handheld device.
I’m in the same boat and would prefer to play Persona 3 in its intended portable way. I’ll explain whether or not you can play this new Persona game on your Steam Deck.
Persona 3 Reload: Is it Verified on the Steam Deck?
Persona fans rejoice! The good news is that Persona 3 Reload is compatible with the Steam Deck. Better yet, it’ll be Verified by launch day, which is on February 2. Back in October, this Twitter/X user discovered that the Steam Deck compatibility was verified for Persona 3 Reload.
Verified is the highest level a game can have on the Steam Deck, otherwise they can be Playable, Unsupported, or Unknown. Luckily, it seems like you should have no problems running Persona 3 Reload on your Steam Deck since Verified means it was made to function on the device.

But how well can it run this game graphically? Well, if you look at the system requirements for this Persona 3 remake, even the recommended specs are pretty forgiving. Your Steam Deck can handle much higher-fidelity games, and all you may run into is a loud fan.
You should easily be able to run Persona 3 Reload with higher-end graphics settings, especially if you have a more expensive Steam Deck or the OLED version. This goes for other Persona games on Steam, such as Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Tactica, and, obviously, the remastered version of Persona 3 Portable.
Space-wise, it’ll take up 30 GB of storage, so make sure you have enough space on your Steam Deck’s drive or your SD card. Compared to many other AAA games, that really isn’t a ton of space, so you should be good to go.
Now that you know that it’s on Steam Deck, you may also be wondering whether or not Persona 3 Reload is on Xbox Game Pass.
