Persona 3 Reload is marching its way past every full moon until its eventual release on February 2nd, 2024. However, contention of the game’s platform releases has made people wonder: is Persona 3 Reload on Switch?
Is Persona 3 Reload coming to Nintendo Switch?
Persona 3 Reload was officially announced back in June of 2023, and since then, people have been anxious to get their hands on it. The reveal was shown off in partnership with Microsoft, so players knew that it would be on Xbox. What’s more, it’s known that Game Pass owners will be able to get their hands on the game on Day One. However, not much was known as to the other platforms P3R would be making its way to. Adding to the confusion, leaked info about the game and its trailers showed a potential box art mock-up for Persona 3 Reload on the Switch. This rumor fueled people’s hopes that we would see a Switch announcement shortly after its reveal.

Sadly, the game is officially slated to release for Xbox Series X/S, PS4 & PS5, Steam, and Xbox Game Pass. With no mention of a Nintendo Switch launch, fans have taken to speculate as to whether or not we’ll see a P3R release on the rumored Switch Pro. I do find it odd that Atlus was able to get the game working on last-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles, but not the Switch. This could lend credence to the idea of a more powerful Switch on the horizon. However, for now, the only options for playing Persona 3 Reload on the go are the Steam Deck, PS Portal, and console cloud services.
