Modern Warfare 3 will soon be opening its doors for players to enter, but first, the early access period will begin for the campaign.
Speaking of the campaign, we’re going to run over if Modern Warfare 3 is going to offer co-op for players looking to dive into the story with a friend.
Modern Warfare 3 Campaign – Is It Co-Op?
For those who haven’t had a chance to check it out in the last year or so, Moden Warfare 2 (2022) offered one of the most intense and intriguing campaigns for as long as we remember. Players raved about the campaign, with many saying it was the best since Call of Duty: WW2.
Now, with Modern Warfare 3 entering the fray, along with the fact that Makarov has been used in nearly all the promotional material in the leadup to the game release, it is safe to say that fans are amped to dive in.
In short, the campaigns going to once again focus on the ongoing battle between Captain Price and Task Force 141, and the new threat of Makarov, who was introduced in a post-credits scene at the end of Modern Warfare 2. While we aren’t sure what kind of mission players are going to embark on, from what we can tell, they’re going to be just as action-packed as the ones we witnessed during MW2.
With the game hitting storefronts, both digital and physical, on November 10, players will want to know if they should recruit a friend to take on Makarov. Sadly, MW3’s campaign does not have co-op.
This has unfortunately been the case in Call of Duty for nearly its entire legacy as a franchise, and while there are co-op modes that we’ve seen in the past, such as Spec-Ops and the newly added Warzone DMZ. The campaign has strictly been a solo affair.
