Lords of the Fallen, like other Soulslike titles, does have multiplayer in the form of invading and invaders. This multiplayer feature can spring into action at any time, as other players invade your world, to either help you take down a boss, or with the sole purpose of destroying you. Is this exciting and frustrating feature crossplatform, however?
Can you play crossplay in Lords of the Fallen?
The answer is kind of strange. Crossplay is supported between consoles and PC, but not between PS players or Xbox players. As though a strange love triangle, PC players are caught in the middle of both of the consoles, but they cannot play with each other.
Multiplayer, in Lords of the Fallen, will consist of you calling for your friends or allies for backup in a boss fight, and invaders hunting down the Lampbearer of other realms for sweet exclusive currencies to purchase items at shrines.
In other titles, like Dark Souls 3, it wasn’t unheard of to be invaded by different players at the same time. This could open the game up for some strange nuances. Will a PS player be able to invade a PC player that’s already being invaded by an Xbox player? If so, why can’t crossplay exist between the consoles?

The answer to that question is most likely a no, but we’ll have to wait and see to be sure.
If you don’t want people invading you, no matter what device they’re playing from, then you can turn off multiplayer from your settings. This will disable all multiplayer features, including the shrines. This can be switched off or on at your convenience, allowing you to play stress-free.
I hope you’re not too disheartened by this news. For more Lords of the Fallen help and answers, look no further than PC Invasion!
