Is House Flipper 2 multiplayer?

Many cozy relaxing simulator games provide a nice multiplayer experience. So that begs the question: is House Flipper 2 multiplayer?

A multiplayer feature is something that players have requested since the launch of the first game in the series. Now we can finally see if their second go-around allows players to flip some houses with a friend.

Can you play House Flipper 2 co-op?

Back in September 2022, players got a first glimpse at the long-awaited house renovation sequel, House Flipper 2. After seeing the trailer, jubilated fans were curious and hopeful that House Flipper 2 would get the PowerWash Simulator treatment of adding multiplayer to the game. And who wouldn’t want to relax and clean or create an entire house with a friend? And now that the game is finally here, fans are met with the unfortunate reality of the situation.

Sadly, House Flipper 2 does not offer multiplayer, or any co-op experience within the game. However, this might not be that much of a shocker to those engrained within the house-renovating fanbase. When the first game launched, developers Frozen District stated through their Discord server that the functionality of multiplayer was not something they wanted to tackle at the time. And it seems that sentiment carried over to the sequel, at least on launch.

Thankfully, with a fanbase as passionate as theirs, players have campaigned for unofficial mods to be made to create a multiplayer experience. Furthermore, House Flipper 2 seems to have a full character model for the player (besides the head at least). So the possibility of a multiplayer mod is something a few talented creators could make. But as of now, we’ll have to make do with cleaning other people’s houses all by our lonesome.
