Honkai: Star Rail is the newest gacha game adventure from HoYoverse, the creators of other breakout hits like Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact. As HoYoverse expanded into creating open-world gacha games, they’ve also started to branch out in releasing its games for different platforms. In the case of Genshin Impact, the game was also released on platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices. PC players might be wondering if Honkai: Star Rail would follow the same path, as gacha games tend to stay isolated on mobile.
Fortunately, Honkai: Star Rail will be available on PC, available to download in numerous different ways. The game is available to download natively on Windows or through the Epic Games Store, giving players multiple methods to download the game. PC players can also double-dip on different platforms as with Genshin Impact, allowing you to additionally play the game on other platforms it’s releasing on, namely Mobile and PlayStation.
How to download Honkai: Star Rail for PC
If you want to download Honkai: Star Rail on your PC, you’ll just have to visit their official website and download it from there. First, head to the official website, where you’ll see a large button that reads: “Download Now.” Just click the link, and you’ll receive all your options on download methods. If you click Windows, you’ll download the game through HoYoverse’s native launcher, or you can choose to download the game from the Epic Games Store.
Honkai: Star Rail launches on April 26 for PC and mobile, but night owl players can get a sneak peek of the game early, since it will actually launch on April 25 for NA players: 10:00 PM EST, and 7:00 PM PST. Be sure to pre-install the game so you don’t have to wait a long time to jump into the game.
