If you’re just getting into Hell Let Loose, you’re probably wondering whether it’s crossplay friendly or not. This is a common question for most games on multiple platforms.
Released in 2019 and available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this World War II first-person shooter game is multiplayer, but what about crossplay?
Hell Let Loose: Does it support crossplay?
While Hell Let Loose allows crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox, it’s sadly not crossplay compatible between PC and consoles. This means that you can play with other PC players while on PC, but if you’re on a console, crossplay is only allowed between the other consoles.
Many games prefer to keep PC and console players separate because of how different gameplay can be between the mouse/keyboard and controllers. It can create an unfair imbalance, so unfortunately, crossplay is only between consoles.

If you want to make sure that crossplay is enabled while on a console, no need to worry. As soon as you get into Hell Let Loose for the first time, it’ll ask you whether you want to enable it. Just make sure your friend on a different console has it enabled as well, which can be done at any point in the game’s settings.
After the question of crossplay always comes cross-progression. Cross-progression is whether a game will allow you to bring the same save files between consoles and PC. The answer to cross-progression is sadly a no, so unfortunately, you’ll need to have separate accounts if you have Hell Let Loose both on PC and console.
With the game now available on Game Pass, you can access Hell Let Loose on your Xbox Series X|S, as well as on the Cloud and PC Game Pass. The good thing with this is that Xbox Game Pass players on PC and console should be able to play with each other.
