Is Enshrouded available on Xbox, PS5? All platforms, explained

Indie studio Keen Games has made their upcoming RPG Enshrouded available to play as a demo on Steam. After being in development for a while, players can now play an early access demo because of Steam’s Next Fest, an event where free demos of upcoming games are made available for two weeks. Enshrouded is a survival crafting RPG with voxel-based base building that is #1 in the most wishlisted upcoming games in Steam Next Fest 2023. But is it available on console and other platforms? Is Enshrouded available on Xbox and PS5?

Enshrouded is not yet available on PS5 or Xbox. That makes sense, since the game is still in its early stages of development. The game is set to launch for early access on Steam in 2023, so PC players will get to experience it just a tad earlier than console owners. However, the developers have confirmed plans to release Enshrouded for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the game becoming available on both these platforms in 2024. So, Enshrouded will eventually be available on consoles, just not yet.

Enshrouded release date

There is no exact release date for the game to be found. This is because the release date has not yet been announced officially, and the full release of Enshrouded is still at least a year out. On the game’s Steam page, the developers have announced that their current goal is to take the game out of early access within a year. In that time, they’ll be gathering feedback on the game from players and making improvements. If you want to get a reminder when the game releases officially, you may want to add the game to your wishlist. This way, you’ll get an email notification when the game releases. As for now, we can only wait and watch.
