Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is the perfect “just one more run” game that would pair perfectly with the mobility of the Nintendo Switch. Here’s whether you can enjoy Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on Nintendo Switch.
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor Switch: Is it available?
Sadly, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is not currently on Nintendo Switch. It’s a huge bummer that Switch owners can’t enjoy my favorite single-stick shooter especially because it’s a game that isn’t too technically demanding. While it’s not available yet, there might be good news in store.

Will Deep Rock Galactic Survivor come to Switch?
Just because Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor isn’t currently available on Nintendo Switch doesn’t mean it will never get there. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is currently in Early Access, and it’s very rare for games to hit consoles in Early Access.
While Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is in Early Access, Funday Games has a roadmap that includes adding more biomes, a better Bosco, more missions, and a lot more. Funday Games plans on adding a lot to the game before it releases its full 1.0 launch. They haven’t specified that they want to prepare the game for consoles, but I would be surprised if the game doesn’t come to Xbox, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
You may see Deep Rock Galactic not being available on Switch as a bad sign. To me, it’s not because Deep Rock Galactic is a much bigger and more demanding game that might not run well on Switch. On the other hand, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a much smaller game that could run well on Switch.
For now, the game is only available on Steam which means you can enjoy it on Steam Deck. I’ve been playing it on Steam Deck and love it there. That’s why I think it will make for a great game on Switch if it ever releases there.
