Who could’ve thought Ubisoft would actually listen to its players and focus on a classic, stealth-focused Assassin’s Creed game instead of churning out another badly optimized history simulator with RPG elements? Well, it seems like Ubisoft has done what was on nobody’s bingo card this year, and has announced Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, a smaller game that will return to the roots of the original Assassin’s Creed games fans have loved for so long. Now the million-dollar question remains: Is Assassin’s Creed: Mirage on Game Pass?
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage — Is it on Game Pass?
Given the game’s short length, playing Assassin’s Creed: Mirage on Game Pass would’ve been the more economical choice instead of buying it outright for $50. Sadly, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is not on Game Pass. Ubisoft isn’t too keen on releasing Mirage on Game Pass, and it makes sense for them financially.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage will be available to purchase on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Amazon Luna, and even iPhone 15 Pro in the future, but not Game Pass. This is a relatively smaller game than the past Assassin’s Creed installments, plus it’s a single-player experience. Hence, the majority of purchases for games of this type are made at the start of its release, and Ubisoft would want to bank on getting as much of those initial sales as possible through store purchases. I wouldn’t recommend playing the waiting game, either, as the latest Assassin’s Creed game on Game Pass as of October 2023 is Odyssey, which was released in 2018.

How to get Assassin’s Creed: Mirage for cheap
However, there is another cost-effective way that you can play this game. At launch, the Deluxe Edition of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage will be available at launch to Ubisoft+ subscribers. Ubisoft offers a monthly membership service for video games called Ubisoft+ for €14.99. Ubisoft+ is a wise choice if you enjoy playing Ubisoft games and want to play this one at launch for a significantly lower cost. You’ll have a month in which you can play through Mirage and check out another game or two, but you can’t keep it after the month ends.
