Is Agent Venom In Spiderman 2? Answered

While the main focus of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been either Peter, Miles or the excellent portrayal of Venom within the games, there are other notable comic book characters that have appeared in the game.

Some speculation has been thrown online into whether or not we actually do see Agent Venom within the game, and we’re going to run over this jarring question below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: Is Agent Venom In The Game?

While most regular Marvel fans know who Venom is, as we’ve seen the character portrayed in numerous films, and now he is the main antagonist towards the second half of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2; die-hard comic book fans took notice of how Harry Osborn used the Symbiote powers at first.

When we first see Harry dawn his new look suit during some missions early on in Spiderman 2, it almost gives off a special operative look, one that features blistering shoulder pads, and armor throughout.

Agent Venom does appear in Spider-Man 2, as this is the cameo that Harry dawns it for a few missions before he is forced to give Peter the suit to save him from dying during their first battle with Kraven The Hunter.

For those unaware, Agent Venom better known in the comics as Flash Thompson; is a product of the US government that took control of a symbiote and uses the power for special missions and contracts; as an operative.

So while Harry isn’t directly referenced as Agent Venom, the cameo of the suit is enough for fans to quickly take notice; and could potentially set something up for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, if Symbiote attaches to another character!

However, some fan speculation that has popped up has suspected that the Venom Symbiote may eventually find its way toward the Eddie Brock of the Insomiac universe; and we could see an epic battle between Venom and Carnage play out in the next title.
